Fun evening eye look :)

While on the honeymoon, I have lots of time to get ready and thought I’d share 🙂 many people have asked for brush descriptions too, so here it all is in one post! Let’s get ready with Audrey!

Prep:

After washing my face, toning and moisturizing, I use hourglass veil primer. A little goes a long way so don’t go crazy with the product! Wait a few minutes before putting anything rise over it so it really soaks in. Then I use Estée Lauder double wear in ivory nude all over my face. I apply it with the Sephora airbrush foundation brush. For lighter application, do little circles and on spots where you need more coverage, dab on extra. Them I use Laura mercier concealer for any trouble spots, using my fingers and the Sephora air brush concealer brush. These are the brushes (concealer is 2nd from the left, foundation is 2nd from the right)

Next I move on to eyes. I use nars smudge proof eyeshadow base (eye primer) and I swear by this. Check out my previous blog post on it!

The eyes took a lot of work since I had lots of time and wanted to try layering a few things.

For eyeshadows I used a buxom cream shadow in husky, my urban decay electric palette colours in revolt, urban and jilted, and a white Mac pigment. First I applied the buxom cream shadow with a Mac 239 brush, which is great for cream shadows. Then I used a Sephora airbrush shadow brush (from the set above) to layer bright purple and fuschia from the urban decay palette and blend it out into the crease. Then I used the Mac brush again (but wet this time) to apply the silver urban decay colour over the light blue buxom cream shadow. Finally I used this tiny flat Sephora brush i bought ages ago from a set, wet it, and applied white pigment in the inner corner. Then I used the top of the 239 brush to apply urban decay Shadow under the eye and a Mac 217 to blend it out.

Blush: hourglass ambient lighting blush in mood exposure. Highlighter: hourglass ambient lighting powder in ethereal light.
